NEHRU SEVA SANGH (NSS), a premier philanthropic institution was established in 1946 at Banpur in the District of Khordha by late lamented Santh Harihar Ram ji while India was in the threshold of her independence to render philanthropic social service to the poor and down-trodden people of Odisha suffering from utter poverty, illiteracy and ignorance.
